It has been well documented that deaf people who rely on lip reading will have problems communicating with people wearing face coverings. But hearing aid wearers are also experiencing other problems.
Several have reported losing their behind-the-ear hearing aids when removing face coverings, especially those with elastic straps which go over the ears.
